BOSC - Bordon & Oakhanger Sports Club

Headley CC is very pleased to have reached agreement to use BOSC (Bordon & Oakhanger Sports Club) as one of two grounds where games will be played in 2022. Our 1st XI will play their games at the ground as it continues to mature since the square was relaid in 2018. The 3rd XI will also play home games there and our junior section will also use it as a base with most of their games being played there. The club is looking to expand it's offering on Sundays and an expanding programme of games will be played on Sunday afternoons.

BOSC was previously used by the club as our second ground, but has overgone a radical overhaul of the facilities. This has resulted in a superb venue that we are very lucky to be using. Some of the changes that have been made are:

  • Rebuilt pavilion, which now includes food and drink available 5 days per week

  • The pavilion is a two storey structure which will allow for outstanding views of the playing area

  • The pavilion includes changing facilities for both teams

  • A completely relaid square and outfield. This will produce a great playing surface and quick drying outfield

  • An astroturf pitch is available on the square, which our junior teams will be able to use

  • A two bay net facility is also available at BOSC.

All of this make for an outstanding arena to play and watch cricket.

BOSC also has other leisure facilities available:

  • Tennis courts

  • Petanque rink

  • Playground area

Cricket is a great game which allows people to make new friends with others in the community. Headley cricket club is passionate about allowing people the opportunity to play and enjoy the game at a level that suits them. It will be great to see anyone at our great new venue of BOSC.

BOSC is a key part of the re-development of Whitehill and Bordon. Feel free to go down and have a look!
