Welcome to Headley Cricket Club
Headley Cricket Club, based in Hampshire, is a family friendly village club that was established in 1872. We pride ourselves on having an open-to-all ethos and welcome people of all ages and abilities to join us - whether that be to play cricket or to simply support our teams from the boundary (and in the bar!).
The club has over 100 members formed of 3 sections – seniors, women and juniors.
We have had a great first season using the BOSC ground in Bordon as our second ground. There has been an immense amount of work put in at BOSC to produce a truly outstanding venue to play the game. A beautiful new pavilion has been built, which offers food and drink 7 days a week throughout the year. The entire playing surface has been re-built from scratch and is already providing an outstanding cricket experience for all who play on it. The club is extremely privileged to be playing at this great facility and we hope it will allow us to continue our overall aim of providing our great game to anyone in our local community.
Have a look at the BOSC website to see what is on offer.
In 2019, our 3rd XI have played their home games at BOSC and enjoyed a great season as they finished 3rd in their league. Some junior games were also played at BOSC during the 2019 season as well, where we also carried out our junior practice sessions. Over the coming years we expect more games to be played at BOSC as we look to expanding our offer.
Our junior section was formed in 2005 and has since flourished with our dedicated coaches running under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 15 age groups.
In October 2019, we are entering a team into the indoor league at Dummer cricket centre. Games will be played on Friday nights and hopefully will help to keep people's eye in over the winter!
